The driving Theory Test is carried out at your nearest test centre and consists of two parts. |
|
The
first part has 50 multiple choice questions presented to you on a
computer touch screen of which you need to get 43 correct answers to
pass. |
|
The
second part is the Hazard Perception Test with 14 video style clips
shown to you on a computer screen, 1 clip has 2 hazards and the other
13 only 1. The earlier you spot the hazard the higher the score. You
need to score 44 out of the maximum 75 points available. |
|
|
|
You
need to pass both the questions and the hazard perception on the same
day. You do not have to pass your Theory Test before taking lessons but
you can't book a Practical Test until you have. Your Princess driving
instructor will always give helpful tips and advice to help you
successfully complete the tests. |

Important
note, DO NOT forget to take BOTH parts of your driving licence or in
the case of an old style licence some recognised form of identification
such as your Passport. Make sure you know where they are well before
your test date. Many forfeit their fee due to not providing the correct
documentation |
